Giphy Integration Guide

Giphy is a GIF search engine that allows users to search for and share animated GIFs, stickers, and clips.

Before you start, make sure you have the following:

1. Create an API Key​

  1. Go to the GIPHY Developer Dashboard.
  2. Click on Create an API Key.
  3. Select the API option.
  4. Fill in the App Name and App Description fields.
  5. Select the Web option for the Platform field.
  6. Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box.
  7. Click Create API Key.

2. Copy the API Key to Mixpost​

Copy the API Key, then navigate to your Mixpost dashboard and paste it into the Giphy third-party service form.

Navigate to the User Menu at the bottom left, click Admin Console, and then click on Services from the left sidebar.

3. Configure GIFs Source​

In Mixpost Settings -> GIFs tab set GIFs Provider to Giphy

Navigate to the User Menu at the bottom left, click Admin Console, and then click on Settings from the left sidebar.

4. Done​

You have successfully created and configured GIPHY. Now you can use the GIPHY to access their vast collection of animated GIFs from Mixpost Media Library.
