TikTok FAQ
When to use Sandbox mode?
- You need to test the integration before requesting an App Review.
- You hold a Mixpost Pro license and wish to use TikTok integration internally.
Why do I need to proceed with the App Review process?
TikTok requires your application to be intended for a wide audience and not limited to internal or private use. To achieve this, access to the TikTok API is necessary. As a result, only users with a Mixpost Enterprise license are eligible to request an App Review process.
How long does the app review process take?
App review may take several days to two weeks after submission. If your app is not approved, reach out to the TikTok team via their Support page for further guidance.
Why can’t Mixpost Pro proceed with App Review?
Mixpost Pro is designed for internal use, helping marketers and agencies manage social accounts for themselves or their clients. However, TikTok requires that your application be intended for a wide audience and cannot be limited to internal/private use. As a result, only users with a Mixpost Enterprise license are eligible to request an App Review process.
What is the Direct Post Audit?
By default, TikTok allows you to upload content as drafts, enabling creators to edit further before posting. If you prefer that scheduled posts be published automatically, enable the Direct Post option in the Content Posting API section of your application. Please note, TikTok will require an audit for this feature.
