Unsplash Integration Guide

Unsplash is a platform that provides access to a vast collection of free high-resolution photos.

1. Create an account

The first step in creating an Unsplash app is to create an account on the Unsplash platform. To do this, go to the Unsplash website and sign up for an account.

2. Create a new app

Once you have an account, go to the Unsplash Developer page and click New Application.

1. Check all checkboxes and Accept terms
2. Fill out the application name.
3. For Description, use this:

We have a social media management software that allows our customers to easily create, schedule, publish, and manage social media content in one place.

3. Copy the credentials to Mixpost

After your application has been created, you will find the Access Key. Copy Access Key, then navigate to your Mixpost dashboard and paste them into the Unsplash third-party service form.

Pro and Enterprise

Navigate to the User Menu at the bottom left, click Admin Console, and then click on Services from the left sidebar.

Lite

Click on Services from the left sidebar.

You have successfully created and configured your Unsplash App.

Apply for production

Currently, your application has Demo access, which comes with limited capabilities. Consider Applying for Production to increase your limits.

This step is mandatory for users providing Software as a Service (SaaS) through Mixpost Enterprise. However, if you are using Mixpost internally, this step is not required.

• In your screen recording, show how a user can search for and insert photos into a post.
